DUDE Summer League San Diego Ultimate Players, it is time once again for DUDE (Diego Ultimate Disc Experience). There will be 11 “regular season” games where you play each team. Then there will be two playoffs and a final tournament. The DUDE schedule this year is as follows: June: 20, 23, 27, 30 July: 7, 11, 14 -3 week break and then starts up again on... Aug: 10, 11, 15, 18 Aug: 22 & 25 = playoffs 27 = final tournament Games are usually on Mon and Thurs except one week in August; wed(Aug. 10) and thurs(Aug. 11). Games are 7-8:30pm and 8:30-10pm on Muir field. These are the same fields as last year. Tournament day is from 9:30AM – 5:00PM. We will let you know on what fields.

The price for DUDE this year is $45. You may have noticed that the price for DUDE has risen somewhat from the previous years. We are sorry to do this, but we have no money left over from the year. After President's Day when the squids were driven off the UCSD campus by horrendous weather, they chose to play on fields around San Diego. However, due to the nasty weather and cleated up ultimate players, these fields were turned to mush. The squids were forced to pay fines (at least $5,000). We would gladly like to make the price lower, but sadly we cannot this year due to unfortunate luck. Thanks for your understanding and hopefully you will still enjoy DUDE as much as previous years!
